New Contemporary Songbook Now Available-
Over the years I've been asked a zillion times whether or not I have any music available for "contemporary worship" that would work well in traditional or so-called "mainline Protestant" churches. Many folks shared that while they wanted to bring more modern music into their worship services, they were having a very hard time finding songs in the world of "contemporary praise and worship music."

Well, this is my first attempt at providing a collection of songs in response to these many requests, and I hope and pray that there are at least a few songs in this book which you and your congregation will enjoy singing together. Click the "Go" button below to learn more about it.

"J-Walking - Songs for Justice Walkers" CD Available-
This new recording is a compilation of previously recorded songs and four new songs, including "I See You", "I'll Stand With You", "God's Green Earth", and "Sarah's Song." This 18 song recording is made possible by a collaborative effort between Bryan and an organization called JustFaith in Louisville, KY (www.justfaith.org), this recording features most of Bryan's peace and justice theme songs. JustFaith has also developed a curriculum for use in teen and young adult Christian education classes. This curriculum features Bryan's music, and is part of a comprehensive effort to help parishes and congregations explore what it means to be communities which are deeply committed to justice according to scripture and the teachings of the Church. You can hear samples of the new songs, check out the lyrics, or order this recording by clicking on the "Go" button below.

Newsletter, Songsheets, Concert Poster Available-
Bryan's most recent newsletter (June 2004), songsheets, and posters for promoting Bryan's concerts can be accessed and downloaded by following the "Go" button below. In the next month or so, we are hoping to add a complete package to help churches and organizations prepare for his concert or event with them. If you have any requests for chords/songsheets you would like to see made available in this new section, e-mail the office at: info@sirchio.com. Not all of Bryan's music is in a songsheet format but if your request is available, we will be glad to post it.

New Study Guide for "Artist's Hand" Available -
A Study Guide to complement the "Artist's Hand" CD has been developed as a leader's resource for youth groups and confirmation classes. Written by Maren Tirabassi, it is packed with study sessions, group activities and discussions, worship liturgies, reproducible lyric sheets, reflections from Bryan, and a brief leader's Bible study - all based on each song on the Artist's Hand recording (13 in all). For more information, follow the "go" link below...

"Bryan Sirchio Live!" Now Available on CD -
This recording has been re-mastered and is now available on CD for the first time. Originally recorded at the Lawrence University Chapel in Appleton, Wisconsin back in 1991, it features Bryan with Larry Dalton accompanying on acoustic bass, and Bert Dalton on piano. This is the only recording that includes the popular "Wooden Bell" song. Additional highlights include some of the background stories which Bryan tells to introduce certain songs, as well as a stirring instrumental arrangement by Larry and Bert of the old Norwegian hymn, "Who Is This Host Arrayed In White?" For more information follow the "Go" link below...

"Wise As Serpents - Gentle As A Dove" Re-released on CD
This recording is actually a re-mastered double album (18 songs total), and includes just about every song from Bryan's first two solo recordings (Gentle As A Dove, released in 1989, and Wise As Serpents, released in 1990) -- the only song not included is "Looser Chains." These two recordings were always a double album in Bryan's mind, which is why he chose to take their titles from one verse of scripture, Matt. 10:16. Worth Repeating...

"It helps, now and then, to step back and take the long view.… This is what we are about: We plant seeds that one day will grow. We water seeds already planted, knowing that they hold future promise. We lay foundations that will need further development. We provide yeast that produces effects beyond our capabilities. We cannot do everything and there is a sense of liberation in realizing that. This enables us to do something, and to do it very well. It may be incomplete, but it is a beginning, a step along the way, an opportunity for God's grace to enter and do the rest. We may never see the end results, but that is the difference between the master builder and the worker. We are workers, not master builders, ministers, not messiahs. We are prophets of a future not our own."

-- Oscar Romero, Archbishop of El Salvador until his murder by death squads

Gifts Of Love

Family or faith community sponsorships of the S.P.A.R.E program or St. Thomas School Partnership provide wonderful opportunities to form meaningful relationships with people from Haiti while helping to financially support the ministry efforts. Information about these programs can be found in the articles to the left or by calling and speaking with Bryan.
